Sedrak SargsyanSenior Director of Development Engineering at Siemens in Fremont, CA USA

Sedrak Sargisian manages the software development of various applications of Calibre – leading tool for physical verification of complex ICs.
Prior to Siemens, Sedrak was a Vice President of Engineering, and a co-founder of Ponte Solutions, a DFM software company.
He joined Mentor when Ponte Solutions was acquired by Mentor Graphics. Mentor Graphics was later acquired by Siemens.
Sedrak has held engineering management positions at Monterey Design Systems, Compass Design Automation, and Intel Corporation.
In his current role, Sedrak actively promotes and leads the collaboration between the Siemens and Academic institutions in Armenia. Sedrak holds Applied Mathematics degree from Yerevan State University.

Tigran SargsyanDirector of R&D Engineering at Synopsys Armenia

Tigran Sargsyan manages the research and development of Generative AI solutions to accelerate various IP development processes and meet the skyrocketing demand for chips. Prior to this, he led the Research organization at Krisp Technologies Inc., where the team leveraged advanced artificial intelligence algorithms to filter out background noise, suppress secondary speaker voices, transcribe speech on device. Before that, he was responsible for Logic Libraries development at Synopsys Inc., leading layout, characterization, build, validation, release, and automation teams. Tigran Sargsyan received his PhD in Theoretical Physics from Yerevan State University, specializing in Astrophysics.

Professor Peter Coveney is also Professor in the Institute of Informatics at the University of Amsterdam and Professor Adjunct at the Yale School of Medicine, Yale University. He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and Member of Academia Europaea. Dr Coveney has made outstanding contributions across a wide range of scientific and engineering fields, including physics, chemistry, chemical engineering, advanced materials, computer science, artifical intelligence, high performance computing and biomedicine, much of it harnessing the power of supercomputing to conduct original research at unprecedented space and time scales. He has shown influential leadership across these fields, manifested through running multiple initiatives and multi-partner interdisciplinary grants, in the UK, Europe and the US.
